I buy peoples record collections and sometimes get 10 I'll never play for every 1 that i want. I had a CB album "trout mask replica" that i never gave much thought to it until I saw this thread. Gave it a spin this morn. That is some of the weirdest **** ive ever heard. Not saying I didnt enjoy parts of it, but damn it inaccessable.

i think it was Robert Christgau that wrote that Trout Mask Replica was great played at high, high volume when you're feeling ******, because you'd never feel as ****** as that record.

An acquired taste for sure, but we need more Captain Beefhearts and less Justin Biebers.
