Don Breaux Retired

He was an assistant for many years in college and the NFL. Anybody care to guess which play call he would most like to take back?

OK, I will answer (it may be a little obscure). Breaux was the Arkansas OC during the Big Shootout. Late in the game, leading 14 - 8, Arkansas had the ball on the Texas 7, 3rd and goal. A field goal would have almost sealed the game. He called a pass, Danny Lester picked it off, and the Horns stayed alive.

Don Breaux-rhymes-with-throw is what I remember. Didn't he come to Texas and work for Fred Akers. The "rhymes with throw" was used in reference to the notion that he would introduce a passing game to go with our conservative run offense.

Seems like we won all of our games 13-7 after Earl left. Used to love those defenses under Akers, offense a little frustrating.
