Hey slick, the record is 4-6. It doesn't make a **** to us if Stoops is there or not. Mack's record will be recorded against ou when he hangs it up. Who knows he may even stay around longer the big game Bob. That fan base could turn on him like a cobra. So, far he is able to right the ship every time the heat is turned up. He better win a bowl game soon though.

Slick-I agree with you and like the OP shows, Mack is the only losing coach against blow u in 50 years. I think, with the last 3 recruiting classes and coach boom, we will have some good chances in the near future. Maybe not this year, but we will see.

Jack- you mis-read my post. With the last 3 classes our chances improve greatly. I didn't rule out this year. I said we will see how it plays out. I really like have a young team with talent. The learning curve with talent is often very fast. Drake and the blow u fans think they have already gone 11-0 this year. Fine, let them think it. Arrogance bites them in the *** about twice a year. I ain't conceding them nothing! Any year!
 
8-8 Bennie "and the jets" Owen - was underated... sooners should have kept him, as his successor was 0-3
1-5 Gary Gibbs... WOW, I had forgotten how we owned him
1-5 Ed Price... no coach on either side going 1-5 would survive to game 7. Unfortunately Price was no match for Wilkinson.
9-5-2 Barney Switzer - you can put an asterik by one of those wins when he spyed on Texas practices ('72). Sorry ********.
Mack Brown will at least even the series vs. ou before he retires
