Domain Registration

There is this certain domain that I want, but is taken now. The site says "this domain is for sale". (not one of those parking deals) , but "this domain is for sale" is added to the usual layout of the site.
I do a whois on the domain and i find that

If they don't renew before then, I think they have a short grace period, and then its up for grabs.

Going rate is around there. I register at DirectNic,com just because I really like the features they offer, and I think its $10-15, but well worth it.
