Dolly, thanks for the mosquitos!

I have never seen so many mosquitos down here. Got in the car this morning, 8 got in with me. I have tons on the ceiling in my bedroom.!?!

Any tips to get rid of these other than the standard "get rid of standing water" tips? We just had a freakin hurricane, water is everywhere.

It's a tradition here in Corpus... mosquitoes come with almost every heavy rain... I actually LOVE spiders now... I never kill them and let them roam out in the back yard... haha... kidding...

Just keep windows and doors closed at all times, and run... literally RUN to your car and back to the house even if you're parked in the garage... for every second your door is opened you let a bunch of them in... to kill them, I just use regular Raid, but the trick is definitely not letting them in in the first place...

crab spiders are your friend.

don't wear dark colors. they're attracted. i heard something about bananas once, but can't remember if it was to eat them or not eat them. you can spray your yard, backyard begone or something like that actually works. says it lasts 4 weeks and i find that to be pretty accurate. keep your dog/s inside as well. make sure your dog has a flea/tick control that will also take out mosquitoes. or else don't let them stay outside too long. the mosquitoes will feast on them and then come for you when you're out there.
