The guy can shoot. He can shoot very well. He just doesn't shoot, much to the frustration of his coach and us fans. When he does decide to, look out. That may buy us some drives to the basket or some open slashers.

He looked very natural shooting it. Hopefully Rick will DEMAND that he takes more shots. Let's Go Horns!!!

Must have done something to upset Barnes, because I don't recall seeing him at all in the last 10 minutes of the game.
 
Dogus needs to spend the entire off season shooting 1000 shots a day or something. Get that 3 pt shot down and you will kill. No body gaurds him out there.
 
No, no he doesn't. He already shoots plenty and he already HAS a good shot. That is what frustrates coaches and others. He is a pass first guy and it almost becomes taboo for him to shoot. Rick probably jumped off his seat when Dogus actually let go of that shot. Forget that it made it, the adrenaline and excitement prob. already hit Barnes.

That shot was indeed beautiful. If he could shoot the short jumper or moving jumper across the lane ala Abrams, he would be a weapon. It's so weird to see him open around the ft line, nobody guarding him and he passes.

He and Ward did a very nice job tonight. Keep up the tag team on Saturday.

Obviously different circumstances...But that play reminded me so much of Paulinos three against WVU. The pass to the left and the late three. Man, it was beautiful.
 
I thought the only reason he took the shot was because the shot clock was down to 1 second. IMO, Duke still doesn't need to guard him unless he scores at least twice.
