Dog Park

is the dog park on Riverside the only one that is fenced in ? My dogs run all over the place at parks but that one has a chain link fence that runs around it so they cant run away. Is there anything like that up north ?

There's one at 10th st. before you get to West Lynn that is pretty enclosed. If I remember correctly it is fenced on three sides and there is a building and playground between the field and the street, which doesn't have much traffic. I don't remember if it was an official dog park, but we would always take my roommates two dogs there, and there were always quite a few dogs there. It didn't get too crowded though. There's also a playground and b-ball court.

I understand. I didn't take my hyper *** Boston Terrier there for that reason. He's so hyper and curious that I didn't want to risk it. By roommate's French Bulldog and Staffordshire Terrier were fine though.

Yes, it's the only one completely fenced...
but the dog park at Peace park between 24th and 29th along Lamar is pretty safe. If you park by the bridge that is closed the creek keeps them from Lamar and fences from the houses. The other 2 directions there is a long way to go before they can get on a road.

I go there 2-4 times a week. I used to goto riverside because my dogs like to wander but found the people at Peace more laid back and nicer.

The best dog park out ther is bull creek. WHile not an "official" dog park, there are definitely more dogs than humans. The only problem I have with the riverside dog park is that it seems my dogs always get fleas. At bull creek they can run around and play in the water. If you have somewhat control of your dog, I would suggest taking them there.

Benson is so ugly, when he goes to the dog park, dogs sniff his face.

HIS FACE!

1, 2, 3... is this thing on?

...yesterday, at the dog run, I got a free show when a girl bent over to pet my dog.

didn't know who tell that to, so thought I'd share it here.
