Does our catcher call our pitches?

I have always thought so, but don't follow our baseball that closely being out of Austin. Per today's ESPN story on their great catcher from Pflugerville, he does not. Just find it interesting.

I don't know if Cameron does yet or not, but at some point, he probably will. I know Taylor Teagarden called his own pitches in his last year or two.
