Thought some of you guys might be interested- the Dodge and Cox Stock fund and the balanced fund are reopening to new investors in feb.
These are good funds for the long haul, maybe a bit conservative, but they have done me very well.
my ira, for idiots like me, is abit of the stock fund, bal. fund, international fund, and the bond fund-
I just re-allocate between funds depending on my sense of the market and current risk tolerance.

all my international funds have taken a hit, but over the last 6 years they have really preformed well and I have to figure some retreat is going to happen-always does....
i'm an old fart so i tend to look at the long picture - although i fear my long term horizon may be getting closer than i like to think--
there might be someting to the line that goes something like" it's better to burn out that rust out" or something like that

I have owned the Stock fund and the International fund for a a pretty long time. Both are good funds to hold for the long-haul.

I like them... yes i'm getting killed right now... but if you look at what they invest in, it's diversified as anything will get.
