Watched this last night. A really entertaining look at some of the early Silicon Valley venture capitalists and the beginnings of the computer/semiconductor industry. Kleiner Perkins, Arthur Rock, Don Valentine and others talk about the risks they took with some of the big names when they were relative unknowns: Apple, Tandem Computer, Genentech, Atari and others.
Kleiner Perkins put up $250,000 for Genentech which ultimately sold for $47 billion. What?
