I'm at wit's end here and I don't know what to do? Maybe someone here can help me.
I have a Toshiba laptop and it has Vista Home Basic on it. For some reason, when I put any CD in the drive, it won't run. So I restarted my computer and went to the "Computer" listing on the Main Menu before putting the CD in the drive. The Computer Menu shows both my hard drives and the CD-DVD drive. But as soon as I put a CD in the drive, the CD-DVD drive will totally disappear from thje computer Menu, and nothing will run from that drive. Anyone have a clue on how I can fix this problem? i've tried everything I know and I get nothing.
