Dish network and CNN

Over the past 2-3 weeks I've been having a weird problem with my Dish receiver. Every once in a while, the box will lock up right after I change the channel to CNN. The entire screen turns green and I lose all control. After a few minutes the box will reboot itself, or I can do it manually by removing and re-inserting the smart card.

This has happened about 5 times recently on the same box, and then this afternoon it happened on the 2nd box in my house. Its not every time I switch to CNN, but its only with that channel (200) that I've experienced the problem.

Has anyone experienced something similar to this with their satellite box?

Your receiver is conservative and can not tolerate that liberal news source.

You'll have to call Dish and request their liberal receiver.

CNN has an enhanced feature that I can access by pressing select. It moves the live feed in to a smaller box in the corner and brings up the days top headlines broken down by category. That's the only thing specific to CNN that I can think of that may cause weird problems.
