Anyone else playing with this beta application yet? It has a ton of potential. You basically redirect your HR20 DVR's output to any computer. Unfortunately there's only a Windows version right now -- sorry Mac/Linux users.

I just installed it last week... looks like a good feature, but really of little use to me... Until I figure out how to actually transfer files from the DVR to my PC then I'll just watch on my TV...

BTW, anyone know of an easy way to do that? I have all the games on my DVRs and they use up all the memory... I need to transfer them...

I think that's something they'll do later on down the road, but it's pretty much impossible to easily extract video from a (non-Tivo) DTV receiver w/out having to play it into a computer at 1x. On a side note, I use a HDHomerun box for recording games now, but it only works with ATSC/QAM (and not NTSC).
