Directions from Anatole?

Can anyone from Dallas please post a "back way" route to the State Fair? We will be leaving from the Hilton Anatole. Any thoughts on ETA would be great.

I have been in the highway back log before, but one time a hotel driver took some back streets and we were there in no time.

Anyone have direction's from Jerry's Mansion? Im a guest of honor there and I just cant figure out how to get from his estate to the Cotton Bowl. On a related note, my Aston Martin and Rolls are both in the shop so if anyone knows a good rental office to call, I would appreciate that as well.

Take Oak Lawn Ave to Lemmon, Turn right on Lemmon and stay on it past Central Expressway until it curves to the right and turns into Haskel Ave. Take Haskel to Parry Ave, cross Parry and Fair Park on on site parking lots are on the right.

According to Mapquest this route is only 5.01 miles and should take 14 min (without traffic)
