Direct TV

Was in Best Buy Sunday and I was approached about changing to Direct TV. I told him to stop right there. I ask, "do you have the LHN?" He said that they will have it in mid-August. Said Grande's "contract is up" and he does not know if they will continue to show the LHN, but he was pretty adamant Direct TV will have it. I dont know if this is old news or just the continuing saga. Just thought I would tell you what I heard.

Good work sir. I'm now in a Fios zoned area, so if DTV is going to have the LHN, then I might just stick with them as my TV provider and have Fios for the internet.

Not trying to be Debbie Downer, but it's possible that was just a sales pitch to get you into a 2 year contract.

But as a DTV subscriber, I sure hope it's true!

My point would be, how have WE, Hornfans, not heard about his but the Directv sales guy at Best Buy has inside knowledge.

I also don't think Grande only signed up for one year.

If you did the deal, I hope you got his business card and home address so you can go kick his *** when it doesn't happen!!!!!!

I Had a Direct TV sales person lie to me about what I would be getting. I did not have it it writing and after installation I complained and all Direct TV woud say was it was not in my two year contract.
I would not trust them as far as I can spit.

Their contract may be up but it does not mean they won't renew either. Also, it's not as if one has to drop it in order for others to get it. wtf? Like it is magically available to them if Grande drops it.

I think I need to call Direct and pretend I am really interested in getting their service, get them amped knowing they have a sale coming in and then ask 'em about LHN. Oh, sorry, that's a deal breaker for me, bye.

theii is on the right path. DirecTV won't be picking up LHN this August. I remember reading the same stories last summer around this time.

I broke my contract with DTV when I learned Fios served my area. That was an easy decision and worth the $150 I paid them....

I really should not find as much fun in this as I do. So I am sitting on my throne and decided to call Direct tv to play the little game. I also called TWC because they sent me yet another envelope pimping their product as well and trying to entice me.
