Dining in Vegas for 10+ guys

Its a bachelor party but I was wondering if anyone has suggestions for good restaurants where 10-15 guys can get good food and end up paying ~50 bucks a person. I've heard about steakhouses but everyone says you drop over $100 easily.

We're staying at the Venetian. I'm open to anything but it'd be best if it was a good place (food wise, not 'upscale' or trendy) and on the strip.

Not much at the Venetian. There's Grand Lux, Wolfgang Puck's place by Tao and the rest are food court style. (Pizza place, sandwich shop, gelatto, etc.) Food court in the shops won't offer much either. (Unless you consider Nathan's Famous as fine dining)

My recommendation would be Little Buddha in the Palms hotel. Really good Asian cuisine and great decor. You should be able to get out of there with $50 per person without any problem. We ended up just ordering a lot of appetizers for the table to share.

Little Buddha

When you are done, you are literally right in front of the Ghostbar, Moon, Rain and the Playboy Club for some nightcaps. I still have some all-access passes left over from our last trip.

A stretch Hummer from the Venetian to the Palms is about $200 with tip. Have everyone throw in $40 for a RT.

Had this dilema in March. We actually ended up at Delmonicos at the Venetian. Outstanding, and since you can bring your own wine in for a corking fee it was not to bad. I don't exactly remember the $$$$ but under $100. We also thought about the Little Budha, Social House, The Haufbrau Huas, etc.......

For some reason i love the Hofbrau haus suggestion... i gotta run it by my brother first of course, but it has extra meaning because i've been to the real HH in munich many times, and I've eaten there in the past with my brother. Plus its pretty guy-oriented with the beer and sausages and german food... Only problem is it being way off the strip, although a few cabs or something won't be that big of a deal. Hmmm...

Oh and where'd you get the wine from to BYOB for that place?

From some people that i have talked to (and i think some people that posted on this board) Haufbrau was really cool...check out the website. It actually isnt that far, just down the street from Hard Rock. So maybe a $10 cab ride.

For the BYOB, some guys were lazy and bought at the Hotel (a bit pricey) some cabbed it to a liquor store, some i think walked to the Mall (which is right across from the Venetian) and some brought it from home. I think there are a few liquor stores actually within a good mile walk from The Venetian past Wynn.

Bouchon is in the Venetian. I wasn't overly impressed and don't remember the cost but its pretty casual.

Mario Batali has a couple places at the Venetian. I think one is the Delmonico Steakhouse which is downstairs but can run a little pricey, the other is an Italian joint that's upstairs in the Shops. I don't think you can go wrong with either. I was a big fan of the food at Wolfgang Puck Grill in MGM, but atmosphere would only get a B- from me. Didn't like any of the places at the Mirage. Margaritaville is a great place for lunch in the Flamingo.

All of the hotels have guide books that rate food by location, price, cuisine, etc. Your best bet is probably to pick up one of those once you get there, then start making reservations.

we had 2 tables of 8 at Delmonicos to get by that little footnote!

It is a pain to get that many guys at one time......we also had thought of planning a big group dinner at Pink Taco at Hard Rock before we hit up Body English for the night....but ended up eating a drink most of the day at Hooters....(long story)
