…run off Seattle and OU? I personally had nothing against them. OU seems like a cool cat and Seattle kindly helped me once with a posting question I had. It can’t be easy defending the current state of the left, but I hope they’re still around.
 
Bubba would place posters on Ignore if his position with them went sour. Wouldn't admit he was wrong. Don't forget, he was slapped on the wrist a few times as well for outbursts against others

With the realization Russia Russia Russia was a hoax, the Biden laptop was not Russian disinformation, vaccines were not successful as he preached, the origins of covid that conservatives believed to be true > and was found to be just that..... he had no leg to stand on here.

I wish he was still posting but that's not his personality. He digs a deep trench and stays there . When facts in the end prove you wrong, you have two options. Admit you're wrong and stay active on the board...or run

Would have been extremely tough because very humbling to admit totally wrong on the whole Covid fiasco for Bubba but there were some things I respected him on.
PS can’t think of them now, but honestly there were a few.

I have no clue what Seattle's status is. I was a sponsor (and my dad from Bowlegs, Oklahoma surely rolled over in his grave over that). I was banned and threatened with a permanent ban for typing "that's stupid" and "I have to go vote to cancel out fools like you".

Over my decade+ time here I have taken a rash of **** from one and all. Some of it earned, some of it reasonable, much of it no so much. I never reported a soul. I think we all should go live on a rival's message board to learn how to disagree and not be disagreeable (or just not be an *******). I blocked a decent number as a blood pressure maintenance technique.

I was punished and threatened with a permanent ban for almost nothing - hell, I think one of the comments was to someone I was friendly with but often engaged in lively debate. Yet, other posters could tell someone to **** off and die with no notable punishment. So, I left. I came back initially to message a few posters who I had interacted with more than others. I come back occasionally to learn what's new with Hillary and Hunter's laptop and to find out if musburger survived the invasion or the coup. Anyone know? Anyway, I don't post because the sky seems more blue and the grass more green when I don't play the performative role as the foil for this crowd. I assume that's why most reasonable posters leave this forum.

PS: Someone should change my title to Former Sponsor.

Unsure what I was wrong about. The vaccine is a medical marvel and Covid killed and forever changed a lot of people.
 
The "jab" is gene therapy, not a vaccine, and it is a medical marvel which has also killed many, many people.

I remain thankfully unjabbed. And somehow, still alive.
 
Hey Bubba, genuinely glad to hear from you. My comment on the vaccine centered around Fauci’s lies on you won’t get it and cannot pass it on if vaccinated. Well that and the part about natural immunity being of no value.

Nice to know you are well and still out there. While I rarely agreed with your politics, I enjoyed having you around. I didn't see what got you banned, but consider Dion a friend and support his judgement, although I have been banned for a couple of weeks and warned for using "libtard", which I didn't know was a punishable offense.

Dion is good people, and you seem like a good guy (if perhaps somewhat "misguided" at times) :hookem:

Coach, I never wanted you gone, and I opposed Husker getting Pete Rose'd. I still think that was the wrong move. Dion knows my view on this, but I don't have to agree with every move he makes to respect that it's his house.

I'm sure it helped many people, but it was oversold, which is why it doesn't look as good now. It was sold as totally safe, able to stop transmission, essential for everyone, and much better than natural immunity, and it was self-righteously argued that anyone who was reluctant was stupid and selfish. None of that was true, but it needed to be to justify vaccine mandates.

So it is a marvel in a way, but it's not what we were told it was, and that's hurting its image now. It's like the chick who wears clothing that's too tight, making every flaw obvious. Oftentimes, her body isn't bad. It just isn't as good as she thinks it is, and that makes all the difference.

The lesson - it's always better to tell the truth about something than to lie about it and deal with the consequences later. The public health system destroyed its credibility. Far fewer will trust it during the next pandemic.
