If nothing else it shows him he could start... we'll get the qb thing sorted out in the next year or so... but we don't have any healthy wide receivers right now that can create separation and make a play.

Great WR's can make any QB look good. If DGB comes into the fold, it will help the confidence of Ash and/or McCoy come next year. Also, lets not forget about Cayleb Jones. Those guys along with a healthy Shipley will give us a better passing game.
