I was wondering who would get the call vs Baylor ... apparently it's Dicharry.

If Taylor isn't our mid-week starter I really hope we work him in during the weekend. He's too damn good to be sitting on the bench.

Interesting. I thought for sure Jungmann would start just because I thought he has had better stuff this far. I agree though that he cant be riding pine for us. Here's to Dicharry having a good outing.

The weather for tomorrow and for the weekend series with Mizzou looks really bleak. Cold, wet, and windy with the best day being Sunday. Why couldn't this have happened last weekend?

I can deal with the cold, just hoping the wet stuff stays away.

The new turf will be tested this week. Anyone know how this turf "plays" in the rain from experiences?

Not sure how it plays but all reports is that it acts natural under all influences.

I'm really hoping it doesn't rain too much to postpone. One week without UT dominance is way too much for me.

Hey Barton, man UP!

We CAN and we HAVE. 20 innings one miserably cold, wet night in Manhattan Kansas, 30's all three games in Lawrence two years ago and snow @ Missou last year. Put on some quilted hunting gear and buy some hot chocolate.

If it wasn't a 14-hour drive each way, we'd be in our seats tomorrow and this weekend. Well, there's still that working thing, too.

Beat the HELL outta Baylor then onto Missou. I'm rippin off that scab from last year. Payback time Tigers....

The main differences i noticed playing on wet turf were that you slid farther (like 20 feet if you wanted to) and that the ball had a tendency to skip forward rather than bounce up, but not so much that it throws you off.
