Luvs. Holds like a gallon of piss, lol. But seriously, they seem leak proof and he hasn't tried t o take them off yet. Not too much more than the HEB brand.
Also, when will I know it's time to potty train the boy? He knows what poo poo and pee pee is, that's for sure.
if he knows what it is, get the pot out... we're just getting started - 19 months. he hasn't used the pot, but he knows to open it and sit on it - and we didn't teach him that. he just knew somehow (probably seeing mom on the seat at some point), so give it a shot.
We used the HEB brand diapers on the girl up 'til it was pull up time & then swapped her over to Huggies (the HEB & Target generics don't have the releaseable side tabs which means it's not as easy for changing when she's got pants or shorts on (you don't want to remove shoes & only do a partial lowering of the pants) or a messy (you do NOT want to have to pull the whole thing off via legs or cut the sides out).
As for the boy (14 months now), we'll stick to the HEB units for now (just went up a size).
As to the 'cool alert' thing the pull ups have, we haven't as of yet had her tell us she's got a wet one based on that - it's still a matter of us having to check every so often.
When either one of them have a wet load, we notice by the 'ant butt' look we see, i.e. their full diaper hangs down like the back most carapace of an ant.
Note: Before anyone complains about the posts herein, well - based on the subject title, what did you expect to see?
Don't buy the heb generics in the yellow pack, the ones in the white are ok. Disappointed in Target brand. They seemed smaller so my boy kept taking them off.
Yeah, my little guy is pulling off his diapers as well... one of the hazards of the tabs. Got to keep him in some kind of pants or a one piece shirt, otherwise the fascination with it takes over.
Y'all are the 2nd ones to mention ditching the pull up's - we keep showing her the underwear & saying "you can wear these if you start to go potty all the time vs. the pull up's" but it hasn't taken hold.
We had problems with Luvs also. Huggies have been great.
I also enjoy the looks I get every time I pick up a package at HEB or Costco and mutter semi-outloud "I'll be taking these Huggies and whatever cash you got".
