It's being reported by the Missouri Rivals group that Dorial's signing ceremony will be at 3:15 PM on Feb. 1 at Hillcrest High School. I had previously read that DGB's decision was probably going down to the last day, but this is getting literal. Man, it's going to be a long 17 days! Dorial & his (adoptive) step-father, are keeping this close to the vest as they have been for the last year...

And I wake up early on Sunday morning thinking there would not be any new news!!!

It will be a nail biter between him and Edwards.

I'm thinking our class is set with the possible addition of another (non 5 star) WR.

Like to think we will get DGB and/or Edwards but IMO we finish second on those guys.

It would be great to land him, but I won't hold my breath. Where ever hs goes, he'll be an impact player.

With no QB on campus that can throw more than 15 yards, it is hard to understand why Texas is even on his list.

However one never says no to a quality talent.

changeo, I"m sorry, but it's not about being great Longhorn fans...we all are great Longhorn fans or we wouldn't be here (except for the trolls). But, his statement was legitimate. If you're the #1 WR wouldn't you want to go to a school that has a high-caliber QB throwing the ball?

Hook'em!!!

Yeah, I'd say David can throw the ball more than 15 yards downfield.

People don't seem to understand how difficult it is to step in as a true frosh at QB--and having had very little reps in Spring--at this level. Add to that a young O-line, a rash of injuries at RB, and a substantial inj to the best wideout, and one might find grounds to shy away from negative hyperbole.

I think we will see enormous improvement at QB this year... And I'd DGB comes on board, that would improve the odds even more.

Ash has a very good arm. The challenge with David is not how far he can throw it but whether he can read congested defenses and throw the ball with good timing and quick release into tight spots. The true issue for DGB should be whether or not David will have enough time (from the OL) to throw deep, which an effective running game and play action should help with. If Dorial wants to be a deep threat, David should be more than good enough.

If we swing and miss on DGB, do we go get C. Coleman from the Baylor chumps?
Surely as short as we are on bodies at WR, we need at least one or two WR's in the class?

Viper,

I wasn't that impressed with Ash's true freshman year either but I think you are exaggerating a bit. He did have his moments and I think he will only improve.
