Dexter - - Holy -er, I mean wow....

Well kind of since prevous posters just stated Dexter would have 3 kids to take care of.

I'm hoping for a dream sequence. I hope Dexters wife is still alive. I do not, repeat, do not want Dexter playing Mr. Mom and serial killer. His family scenes already get on my nerves.

His wifes character does get on my nerves, but I would rather see them get divorced.
 
i see your point about the dream sequence.

but

that, to me, would be the ultimate cop out. i'm interested to see how the writers handle this one.
 
agree, it would be a cop out, but do you really want to see Dexter with an apron on making peanut butter/jelly sandwiches every episode
 
I didn't see the episode, yet I do know what happened. So, with the whole Dexter childhood thing playing out for his son, who killed Rita? She didn't off herself did she?

If it was the guy Dexter whacks, how did he know about Dexters past?
 
definitely dont want to see dex making pbjs for the rest of his life.

i think the trinity killing reinforced that that's who he is. had he knocked off trinity when he had the chance, rita would still be alive, and i think that's going to haunt him, and push him to kill more.

should be an interesting tension between dex the single dad and dex the rededicated killer.
 
Btw, it's so frustrating to me that nobody I know watches Dexter... What the hell is wrong with people? It's the best show on TV, and I never have anyone to talk to about it...
 
i need to go back and watch the conversation with trinity and dexter before dexter finally kills him...all with the perspective that trinity has already killed rita.

i'm sure it's significantly more creepy.
 
I assume the older kids will remain w/Paul's parents. I have no idea where the baby will be placed.

Rita is a sad loss, since she represented the only hot *** on the show, but I suppose they'll bring in some other characters to backfill.

Great show. Loved Lithgow as Trinity.
 
Great show and great ending. Rita was looking so hot this season. John Lithgow was nails

Jennifer Carpenter was fantastic this season too.

When does season 5 start?
 
Great show and my wife and I got hooked about 3 months ago starting back to season 1. We have since watched all 4 seasons in the past 2 months or so with finishing up season 4 last weekend. Wow what an ending!

I personally think it was a dream sequence...but my wife doesn't. She was personally distraught the night we watched that finale with that ending...such a good show!
