Dexter F'n Pittman

His defense in the second half completely shutdown Griffin and OU's inside game. He was absolutely crucial to building our huge lead in the second half.

I think he will be big for us with James potentially gone to the NBA. He hasn't even left the base of his full potential yet.

Between Pittman, Wangmene, and Johnson we are pretty set in the front court for a few years. That doesn't even take Chapman, who is improving and getting stronger, into consideration.

Pittman really impressed me today, but Wangmene is going to be a beast. He is so much better than I expected him to be at this point in his career.

Totally agree. When Pittman was in the game, Blake Griffin couldn't get a good look, and he also didn't get any second chance points.

Agree Rex. I expect Clint to follow the Atchley path, but I think he has even more potential.

Wangmene is really starting to come on. An off season with Coach Wright is going to sculpt him into a physical specimen and his skills are going to just continue to improve.

I don't want to take away from Dex's thread so I'll just say that I expect him to have a good tourney and be a major contributor next year.

Didn't forget Matt, just totally blanked on his last name while I was posting and didn't want to look too stupid by guessing.

I look forward to seeing how his year off has helped him.

Once Wagmene gets a better feel for the game and gets some confidence, and once Pittman stops insisting on dribbling for three seconds every time he gets the ball in the lane, those two have a LOT of upside. But their defense right now has definitely been an asset if the offense is sometimes MIA.

I don't know what took Barnes so long to put Big Dex in the game. Griffin was manhandleing Atchley and Chapman down low and we couldn'y buy a rebound if he was in the vicinity. Dexter stopped Griffin like a brick wall.

Coach, we need more Dex.
