De'Vondre Campbell to Texas???

If things couldn't get any more bizarre this recruiting season, Hutchinson CC is now recanting their statement that Campbell has committed to Texas. The school jumped the gun with the announcement along with the announcement of an auburn commit. While it's widely believed he will commit to Texas, Campbell has yet to formally announce.

He must not know that Mack Brown is our coach and that we have the Longhorn Network. I wonder if they had some fliers and history books to tell him who we were, where Austin is and that there is a school here. One with the best and most loyal fans in the country.

Lee Jackson and Aaron Babino played the position at 210-215. Looks like he was a DE in HS and they spun him up to play a pass rusher and run blitzer.

Hutchinson CC posted that he had signed but was mistaken. The link on their website is now a dead end.

I suspect they are trying to make sure Campbell is eligible and qualifies.

Im not a fan of guaranteeing some is going to start. I would guarantee them the oportunity to compete for the starting job. But, sadly, he'll be kicking our *** for the next 2-3 years.
