Destiny Hooker is unreal

I haven't seen UTVB all that much, and I was flabbergasted by Destiny Hooker's performance in last night's game. I don't see how we lost with her on our team. (I guess I should go over to the VB board.) We will be in basketball heaven when we get a player who can play at a level like that.
 
No s___, JD.....she is a world-class athlete, but I am just SICK they didn't win.....Penn St. made adjustments and we didn't....

I agree with both posts. Hooker is one of the most beautiful athletes I have ever watched. And her desire to win is equal to her talent.

We did not make any adjustments. Penn St. made a rotation adjustment that worked and TX never made a counter-move.
 
Yes, it is heartbreaking that Destinee did not get the NC her Senior year. She is truly beautiful to watch. She has to be one of the most gifted athletes in the nation. I will be def be keeping up with her career after graduation.
 
I caught the 5th set and I was broken that they didn't win. All I want to know is does she have any eligibility to play BB? I'm kidding but I'm for real.

She's a pure athlete and I love her tenacity. I almost started crying when they showed her after the game. It was that look on her face. Track is next for her and from that look on her face she will break every record she can before she departs the 40 Acres. Destiny we are soooo proud of you! Hook'em HORNS!!!

I agree with everyone else - where was the counter move coach?
 
Yes, Cynt she COULD play, and she said at one time she wanted to letter in 3 sports....but, I kinda doubt she could jump in after a 4 year Basketball haitus......besides, she still has track to do....gotta keep her U.S. Collegiate high jump record intact!!
But that being said, wouldn't you LOVE to see her DUNK, or watch her jump up with her 11 foot reach and slam a ball back in to Griner's face ??

.....just TOO SWEET to even imagine!!

BBV - I know! That would be awesome. Like I said she's an athlete - she could pick up a basketball and probably start for us this year. Some athletes just have it like that.

What if she just showed up for practice today!?!?!?!

I know wishful thinking. She could be that slashing "baller" that we need to make things happen. And can you imagine her on defense.

OK I need to quit day dreaming about her in a Longhorn BB jersey on the court making it happen... I'm making myself tooo excited. LOL!!
 
I agree.. I must admit i don't follow vb but i did watch the whole match and the commentator kept asking if Texas was going to readjust there positons which they never did.
