Dessert Tonight

Was at the grocery store trying to stock back up after Ike. Got some nice peaches and thought they would be good grilled for dessert tonight. Let them soak in some lime juice and brown sugar while we ate, then grilled the thick slices of peach. Served them with Blue Bell's new flavor - Snickerdoodle (cinnamon ice cream, chunks of snickerdoodle cookie, and a caramel and cinnamon sauce swirled through it). Tasted like a peach cobbler, but better.

Which cartoon character was it from back in the 60's that spun around going mmmmm, mmmm, mmmm, then floated up and came back to Earth with an 'Ahhhh!"? Augie Doggie maybe? Anyway - it was that good IMHO.

The original "floating" dog was 'Snuffles', on Quick Draw McGraw, whenever he would get a treat.

Ten years later 'Muttley', from the Dick Dastardly Show would do exactly the same thing when DD would give him a medal.

can you tell me exactly how many and the what the names are of the chemicals in that Blue Bell that you added to your grill peaches? They sound great! Blue Bell is about the most god awful drivel ever put on the market and called 'ice cream.' I can't stand all the artificial chemicals and flavours they add. Their basic strawberry is like a Dow Factory's listing.
