Sorry if my spelling is incorrect. I have been out of town for a while. I do not see him on the depth chart. What is his status? I expected big things from him.

maybe someone else has insight but mack would rather put someone with experience who can catch rather than someone who may lack experience but more of a home run threat. i don't understand it and mack needs to let his players play. joe mcknight returned punts as a true fr at USC and I think hales or someone can do the same for us.

There is no use for Texas burning a shirt just so a kid can return kicks. If Hales is going to be the 9th receiver off the bench he would be lucky to get three catches all year. He has a lot of talent and should be a great weapon for this team in the seasons to come.

Agree 71grad. No reason to use up a year for returning only. I'm not saying Quan is who I want to see back there because if he gets hurt there then we are screwed but we have plenty of guys that could be return men other than a promising freshman who needs to develop into a good WR.

Agree with shirting Hales. Disagree with Quan returning both kicks. He is our second most valuable player and we would be SCREWED if we lost him. Put any db back there (Deon, Cu Brown, Thomas, A. Will, Ben Wells, Christian Scott). I bet these guys would do just fine.

The whole issue here is holding onto the ball and making smart fair-catch decisions. Go look at hs film and watch A. Will return kicks and tell me you dont want to see him out there.

It kills me that we can't get Curtis Brown on the field in some capacity. If you haven't seen his high school clilps, google them.
