Heading up there for with some buddies for the world series.....ticket prices are ridiculous, so direction towards any cool downtown sports bars that would be a great place to see the games would be appreciated.
The Sports Column is generally regarded as the best. I like Breckenridge Brewery, just outside (SE) of Coors Field. Both will be be crowded (as will all of LoDo). But that is why you are there, right?
Enjoy yourself. The weather is supposed to be nice.
lodos is another place similar to sports column (on Blake 1/2 way between 19th & 20th), but one street over on Market by 20th. both have rooftop patios and penty of tv's, but I think lodos has more, I prefer the back bar at sports column since there's a chance of actually finding a table.
the day the rox won game 3 of NLDS, THe Public House (next to sports column) on blake was the nicest concentration of uberhot 30 yo *** since I left Dallas, and only 1/2 as pretentious.
falling rock taphouse across the street from SC and TPH is way better than gingerman in terms of selection, and it's managed by a Texas Ex who used to manage the Austin gingerman, there's a longhorn rose bowl football atop the bar, they have a rather large projection screen across from the bar.
there's also Jackson's on 20th one block west of Blake right across from Coors, plenty of TVs there.
