Dennis Poppe tells LSU how to dress

Maineri needs to channel his inner Gerry Dinardo and get the NCAA to change its mind. The one good thing Dinardo did for LSU was convince the NCAA to let them wear their white jerseys for home football games.

If the rule is that the jerseys simply have to be contrasting in color, then how can the NCAA tell them what color to wear? They're not even saying "don't wear gold." They're saying "you must wear white." That's dumb. I can think of much more serious problems pertaining to college baseball that the NCAA needs to be focused on.

LSU is DOOMED.

But that's the point. They didn't tell them not to wear gold. If they had, this would pretty much be a non-issue because it's really up to the visiting team. If Texas Southern showed up wearing gold (and no one has said that's the plan), LSU would be the team that would have to change. But that's between Texas Southern and LSU, not LSU and the NCAA. It's ridiculous that they're requiring LSU to wear white on their own field in their own regional. They should be able to wear whatever the hell they want, as long as it's different than what the other team is wearing. I mean, what's next? Is the NCAA going to tell Texas they can't wear white cleats anymore because they kick too much *** when they do?

I guess if LSU loses in white, it's something akin to saying Texas lost some games because they moved the home dugout at UFCU-DFF to the first base side.
