Down a set and a break to the 5 time defending champion, 6'6" Del Potro goes back to just beating the crap out of the ball. The 20 year (who beat Nadal 6-2, 6-2, 6-2 yesterday) breaks back and then wins the set in a tie-breaker.

glad they finally let him speak in Spanish... I almost threw something at the tv set when Dick tried to put him off.

Great kid. Great effort. Both were true gentlemen and a terrific reflection on the sport and this tournament.

That dude is big as ****. Great match. Both guys fought hard and Del Potro stepped up when he needed to in the 2nd set or he might have lost that match.

Great run by Roger....5 straight titles at US Open and 40 straight wins. As he said, "you can't get them all". 17 out of last 18 grand slam finals boggles the mind. 22 straight grand slam semis as well.
