This team is toast. I doubt they win another game this year, unless we get a very favorable matchup in 1st round the tourney. Maybe not even then.

We will be destroyed by Baylor, and any Big XII team that is able to survive until the second round of the conference tournament.

Turn out the lights, I agree. This team saw opportunity pass them by and there's no way they'll see another W this season. How Barnes can coach a team to a #2 ranking over and again then figure out how to completely disappear from the rankings is unexplainable

What hurts the most is we waste a QUALITY win on the road against Kansas and appear to be a lock to win the regular season this year before imploding to end the season.

Texas needs a guard like Pullen, someone like TJ Ford would work. Pullen drives to the basket and scores, Texas does not have that in a guard.

The players need to turn off their TVs and radios and ignore the newspapers. I think it's a case of the big-head after hearing the analysts say that Texas is the most complete team in college basketball. They've already crowned themselves and have forgotten that they have to earn it.

They're just not playing as hard as they used to.

And it sucks.

Dogus is a very good player but we suffer offensively whith him on the court. Defenses play off of him because the only shot he has is a layup. It's basically like our offense is playing other teams defenses 4 on 5. Him being no offensive threat what so ever kills us.

I don't think this team beats BU. Not now. Teams are figuring out that our Offense is TT and Ham. If ham's jumper isn't falling then we are pretty well f'd.

Barnes has a real problem creating/teaching offense with screens, movement, spreading the court, etc. He has yet to figure out how to use J'co Brown, except to put him in to throw up threes when we are down.

This team has a lot of offensive talent, without an effective scheme to take full advantage of it.

And a big problem may be that we don't have a really good point guard like ksu's Pullen. That guy plays great defense, hits his freethrows at 80%, hits the jumper, drives and dishes.

If we trade any of our gurards for Pullen last night, we win that game, imho.

agree we need a guard that can score and we need some players that will stick around for more than 1 year.

this team is one really good shooter (clutch guy) from being a top team.

Boy, it sure doesn't take much for a lot of you to pack it in.

Take away Tristan Thompson from the box score and we shot 26% as a team from the field. I'll chalk this down to an off night against a very dangerous team. Put it in the past and move on.

An off-night, you say? I guess that also means we've had a string of those against Nebraska, Colorado, and Kansas State.

Yes, we did have a string of off games and shot very poorly. And two of those were on road against very dangerous home teams. KSU is a good basketball team and his some nice victories on the season. Should wwe have won, yes. Is it like losing to some mediocre club at home, no. Yes, we do have some problems that need to be corrected right away. All is not lost. I knew Baylor was gonna be a tough game and a possible loss (before we lost these other games). Now, IMO Baylor is a must win before tourney play. We lose on Saturday and I'll join you hitting the panic button. Right now, I hope we eat some humble pie, get our head out of our asses, and make a run to March Madness. with our swagger back.

I think swagger is definitely gone!

Problem is, confidence will be gone if we lose to Baylor. - very likely imo, unless we somehow get hot from outside. Hamilton needs to take over the game early, hit about 5 3s in the first half, then maybe we can hold on in the 2nd - again.

I would like to see us be a 4-5 seed, win the first game, and have a decent shot at the 2nd game.
