Deja - Class of 2020

I've been posting updates on UT commit Deja Kelly to the 2018 Recruiting thread but, rather than clutter what will probably become a mammoth thread with 2020 player news, here are some more notes/appraisals about Deja. Most are related to the 40/40 camp this past weekend.

Top PG despite competing against 2016s:


Jason Key from Premier Basketball got her class wrong:
2019 Deja Kelly (TX) was the best I have ever seen her, making plays on both ends of the floor.

Lisa Bodine from Blue Star Media:
Deja Kelly 5-9 San Antonio, TX - Mature beyond her years…super high IQ…outstanding court vision…natural playmaker…can create her own shot off the dribble or score from the perimeter

those are some pretty PGs she was listed ahead of. She will be coming in the year after Alecia Sutton leaves, if I got the time right. PG seems to be in very good shape for the next few years.
