deep fried question

Has anyone ever tried to chicken fry either a pork loin cutlet or a hamburger patty? if so how did it come out? Thanks in advance.
 
I have fried pork chops, and so I don't know how that would be much different.
I don't 'deep fry' CFS though. I fry it in about a 1/3 " of Crisco.... I wasn't really aware of people deep frying CFS
 
I've cooked both, and a bunch of other stuff in the Fry Daddy. Get a wire basket that fits, flour them, eggwash, flour and get after it. Ribeyes are great this way also.
 
thanks. i am gonna try to chicken fry the pork chops tonight. I have a big loin so i might inject half of it, season it, and deep fry it like a turkey.

it is probalby more accurate to say CFS is wiener schnitzel that is beef instead of pork/veal...
 
I made chicken firied pork last year. It was a tenderized cutlet kinda like a cube steak. Breaded in crushed saltines and pan fried (not deep fried). It was deliciousness. That was the night of last year's Tech game. I have not eaten it since.
