It was the first CD I’ve purchased in a while and I got to say it was a disappointment. The only two decent ones were The Day That Never Comes and Cyanide. The rest were hard to listen to

Same way I felt about ac/dcs new album. rock n roll train was great, the rest, not so much. gnr's new album just plain sucked (not that its the real gnr)

the lesson here is to d/l the album first, then buy it.

I kinda like it, and i am not much of a fan of anything between Master of Puppets and St. Anger.

I totally disagree with the OP. This is the best Metallica album they've put out since Master. They finally got rid of Bob Rock and the results are better than I expected. The only song on DM I don't like is Unforgiven III because it reminds me of Load and Reload. Can't wait til Sept 29 in Dallas. Hetfield better not get hurt waterskiing this time around.

I'd have to disagree with OP too. I thought DM was a really solid album, and the show in Houston was as good as any live show they have ever done, anywhere at any stage of their career.
