This show is bad ***. I assume it has been on for some time since I am not up to date on tv shows but it is still awesome.
As a kid my friends and I would go to great lengths to try to determine who would win in a fight. Sometimes it would be a Samurai v. a Ninja or a Knight v. a Roman Centurian. It just depended on whatever movie we had seen, I guess.
Well, this show does it for you. They compare weapons, defenses and methods of combat. The episode I just saw was Ninja v. Spartan. You would think Ninja, right? Wrong. Spartan's shield being used both as an offense and a defense was the determining factor. 65% of the time he won. The Ninja left him incapacitated and very bloody but at least he was alive. The Ninja was not. Ninja has stars and other weapons but shield blocks them.
Now is the 18th Century Pirate v. a Knight from 15th Century France. The Knights Morning Star absolutely crushed a dummy head in two. Devastating. The Pirate, however, has firearms!
