Dead board with such a big game tonight

I think we are going to mess UCLA up.

We are just better than them, we are deeper than them and we get them at home. I just wish they wouldn't have blown that game in NYC so we could be the first to take them down

I get the impression that UCLA is not as good this year compared to last year?

And I think maybe a lot of fans are still pissed about the Texas OU crap...

I am still mad about football. I actually left the last bball game with 5:00 or so to go I was so upset. First UT bball game I ever remember leaving early in my life.

I am driving down from Dallas at 3, then back home afterwards because I have to work tomorrow. Wouldn't miss this one for ANYTHING.

Hook em!!

Will be there tonight and I hope the place is packed!

Also, at the game on Sunday I watched as Deloss got the text message about the BCS ********...his whole demeanor changed..he actually turned his back towards his wife and was texting the rest of the game.

my tickets are locked up in my wifes car at the airport. She has the spare with her in Tampa. It will cost me $40 to get pop a lock. I am going to scalp a ticket instead and sit in my normal seats. (this doesnt make me a true fan just an idiot who lets his wife handle the season tickets.)

Pike...contact the UT Ticket office and request a ticket reprint.

It's free of charge.

I'll be there and ready to cheer on my boys!

It's going to be awesome. First big home game of the year. I want to see Mason/ Balbay going against Collison. This is what is most interesting to me.

While I'm confident about winning our game tonight, our offensive woes against a Ben Howland UCLA defense makes me think it's going to be really ugly game tonight.

If we hit shots and FTs, we win. But that is never a given against UCLA. I hope we can catch fire. If we do, and we can get AJ off screens, we should be fine. But if we play like we did against ND...... We could be looking at one ugly loss. That said, I'll completely go out on a limb, and say/hope:

TEXAS: 61

UCLA: 55

although I wouldn't mind us scoring waaaay more...

I am flying up tonight after work for the game and then taking the early morning flight tomorrow to get to work on time!

I started to give a little write up, but I really have a lot of stuff to do before I leave. Sorry, guys. One thing to look for is their guards vs. ours. Collison and Holiday are very, very good defenders, with Collison leading the way. Our guards could get taken out of the game. I would think Barnes would like to keep AJ off the ball more this game so he can break free from Collison via screens. We are better with AJ off the ball, IMO, as it is.

Malcom Lee will be the first guard off the bench. Like Holiday, he is a true freshman, but can play. If Aboya gets in foul trouble, like he does at times, UCLA will have to counter with other freshman, Gordon and Mission in the front court. I am sure if Mission and Pittman matchup in the post, a comment will be made on the broadcast about their size.

Ok, I better stop before I get carried away. It should be a good game, but I expect Texas to take this one. They could run away with it, especially if Shipp shoots poorly and Collison is having an off night. Holiday can fill it up, but if their two seniors and team leaders have bad nights, Holiday and the other freshman will potentially have a long night.

Im nervous about the game.

Thats how I know im over the BCS mumbo jumbo.

ITS BASKETBALL SEASON DAMNIT!!!!

Kick some Bruin *** and HOOK EM!
