I would think Cole is being contacted a lot because he decommitted from the national championship team, under unsusual circumstances. I'm sure some reporters would like to know more about what happened. It could make for a nice juicy story during the last week before NSD and after.

I think it's a big story for those who are down on the seamy side of sports and down on Saban in general. This is evidence of ruthlessness and there is some interest; obviously Michigan and Alabama fans don't care and even further, will blame it on the recruit (couldn't hang; didn't keep up his end of the deal; didn't work out enough etc).
 
Malik looks pretty confident on periscope that Fowler wouldn't do any announcement unless he is changing his commitment to LSU... Will know soon. Come on Fowler!
