Dazed and Confused filming locations?..

The High School that they went to was Bedichek Middle School. I went to school there when they filmed that movie. Pretty cool...the baseball fields are Garrison parks fields next to Crockett High School I think. Not too sure about the rest of the stuff though.
 
The football field they're on is Burger Stadium. I wouldn't doubt that the woods they have the party in is Garrison Park....but I have no evidence of that.
 
The baseball field is actually Northwest Field over off of Shoal Creek. A lot of it was filmed in and around Allendale and Crestview like the scenes with houses in them. The poolhall scene was a built set in the Violet Crown shopping center on Lamar. The liqour store is the Centinial Liqour store right next to the Yellow Rose. The part where they drop the paint on Ben Affleck is also right there. It is a place that paints cars.
 
The party was filmed out at Decker Lake, wasn't it?

And the girls got hazed in the parking lot of the old Americana Theater, now an Austin Public Library branch.
 
Texasboy34, that was my Jr. high as well.
I was there I think a 1or 2 years after they filmed it (78-79, 79-80).
My cousin Scot Gil was there I believe when they were filming it as well.

I was confused with another movie they filmed that used the drag that was filmed during that time period.

Hey, the rest is correct, I was there at Bedichek and I my brother and I are in the sports memorabilia they have in the trophy cases to prove it.
