Day Light Savings Time: Over!!!

Before we had kids -- end of DST = awesome. An extra hour of sleep on a weekend, and "nightlife" started right after work.

After we had kids -- end of DST = the suck. Kids are still up at the normal time -- only it's 6:00 a.m. instead of 7:00. And they are kept up an extra hour past their biological clock "bed time." Takes most of the week to adjust their inner clocks. And no more daylight when I get home -- that means anything that needs doing gets done on the weekend, when I'm already busy as hell.

I used to love the time changes. Now I hate them.

I hate it. Dark at 5:30??

Uses more energy, why aren't the environmentalists all over this?

More car wrecks.

Makes it hard to get the tent set up before dark on camping trips that start on Friday.

Absolutely hate it.

Twilight golf is hardly worth it anymore, unless the golf course adjusts with the time change, which they rarely do.

I don't care if it's DST or not.

Let's just pick a ******* time and go with it.

Absolutely no reason at all to continue with this idiotic changing of the clocks twice a year.

Move to the equator if you want sunrise/sunset to be constant. Of course, most equator countries are 3rd world...

I don't care that it is dark at 7am. I don't care if it is dark all the time while I am at work and can't see the light anyway. I do care when my GF nags at me because I am walking the dog after dark.. at 6pm.
I do care when I can't go ride my bike after work, or trying to ride in the dark. I also hate driving in the dark too. Dark sucks.

Without the switch back, it's really difficult to go surfing before work. (And there's no way to surf afterwork no matter what the clock is doing.)

Nooooooooooooo! Went out to hit some tennis balls, only played like 15 minutes. Was like, wtf it's dark already!
Why can't it just be daylight savings time all year?

as a high school football player, it was always so awesome that first monday after the change to see it start getting dark that much earlier.

maybe teams that were good liked to practice. we sucked and i hated it.

We should stop artifically changing the time. I work in Qatar, and it now gets dark here by 5:00pm. The sun rises around 5:00am. You get used to it.

it should always be daylight saving time. call it daylight optimization time.

there isn't much to 'do' at 7a. there is plenty to do at 5:30p. change it for good. i don't milk cows, so i don't give a crap.

In an age electric, I am totally for ditching Daylight Savings.

Unfortunately, there will likely always be little corrections due to the planet taking more and more time to revolute. But hey, someday they may figure out how to spin the moon appropriately to halt the Earth's slow down.
