Well, 11 #4 seeds got to enjoy their BBQ last night and are headed home.
In addition, 3 #3 seeds were eliminated NC State, Elon, and FIU.
Also, you can say goodbye to #2 seeds California and Stanford. It's not a good year to be a California team apparently.
Aside from the Fullerton Regional where Minnesota is now in the driver's seat at 2-0 (as the #4 seed) most regionals are going "as planned" with 13 #1 seeds going undefeated into the championship. The others are Clemson and College of Charleston, both #2 seeds.
Overall, it seems to be a pretty boring regional field with few big upsets. I know the games have to be played and that most staffs aren't as deep as ours, but right now it appears the NCAA chose the 1 seeds "correctly".
