Davidson is pretty dang good

I was thinking that Kansas would have an easy task beating Davidson tommorow despite Curry's unreal play, but then I took a look at Davidson's record.

25 in a row including wins over Georgetown, Gonzaga, and Wisconsin

6 losses - including close game to good competition
UNC (L by 4)
Duke (L by 6)
UCLA (L by 12, kinda close)
NC State (L by 1)

120 points in their first game this year

AND they beat Wofford 3 times this year!

I'm not sure if I'd rather be playing Davidson or Memphis right now.

Don't even bother with this post because the Kansas nuthuggers are about to come on and tell you that rockchalk will kill them. Funny how Bill Self is the biggest postseason choker when it comes to getting to the final 4. Obviously Memphis is better on paper and playing well but a guy like Curry who went off on Michael Flowers, who is a hell of a lot better defender than Kansas will have to put on him...ala Rush or Chalmers, is capable of carrying his team to a win with a big performance. I expect Kansas to win but in a very very close good game.

When George Mason made their Final Four run, not too many peeple saw them coming. Beacuse of their close games against quality opponents in the regular season and their long winning streak, people should have seen Davidson coming, but it looks like Gonzaga, Georgetown, and Wisconsin underestimated them.

The Kansas/Davidson game is actually pretty interesting. I really don't know how it is going to turn out. Davidson is playing so well that I would not be shocked if they pulled the upset and squeeked by Kansas. On the other hand, they can't keep this up, right? I don't know. Wouldn't be suprised if Davidson pulled it off. Wouldn't be suprised if Kansas won by 20+. Gut feeling says Kansas wins by 10-12.
