David Durham commits

I see that linebacker David Durham committed to Ohio State. He's from Texas. I don't know nothing about him. Please fill me in. Is he a good recruit?

BuckDoug from what I have read you are getting a good one and I think you are going to be happy with him. Plus he is very happy to be going to Ohio State and that is a big extra plus. I'm sure he is going to be a great player for you.

My personal opinion only:

He's likely to be a solid player, but don't put expectations of a Laurinaitis or Hawk like career on him unless you enjoy being disappointed.

I didn't get to see him play last season as a junior, because I graduated and am in college now, but he was pretty good as a sophomore. He's an athletic monster and ripped to the core, but his fundamentals are, well...non existent. Unless he improved a lot this year, which is entirely possible.
