Sorry if this is old news but I had not seen it posted anywhere. Darius White is listed on the 2012 recruit list at Missouri. He is listed as "enrolled" where the other recruits' have the time they signed the LOI.

I tried to link but couldn't. Probably something "my bad".

Sucks to be him. With DGB headed to Mizzou, and likely to play White's position, he's no more likely to see the field there than he did here...certainly not with his (lack of) work habits. Hopefully, we're finished with recruiting his likes to UT.

Hopefully DGB's presence as a playmaker will somehow motivate Darius to raise his own level of play... perhaps DGB will consistently draw double coverage and give Darius an opportunity to catch more balls.

The worst case situation is where Darius continues to be a guy who occupies one of 11 spots on the field but doesn't do much to account for himself, and ends up dragging down Mizzou team unity and morale in the process (like he did at Texas).

If you keep doing the same stuff, why should you expect a different outcome. His location has changed, but I doubt his attitude and work habits have.

If his work habits and attitude don't improve, he'll be riding the pine like he did at Texas. Then how long will it be before he tells Mizzou WR prospects to not go there because they won't get to play?

He's just one of those WRs Texas recruited so no other school could enroll him. Just ask Matt Davis.

Wait a minute. So you're telling me that the guy that trashed Texas because of, among other things, playing time will now go to Mizzou and not see the field because of a guy that chose Mizzou over Texas?

Karma is a *****.

It's really simple Darius. If you're a Texas WR and you actually catch the ball, you play. If you don't catch the ball, you either sit the bench or transfer to another school where you most likely will continue to drop passes and then sit the bench.

I don't know about you Darius, but if I'm sitting on the bench I'd much had rather do it where it's warmier than what it is in Missouri. Just saying.

White lost his place on the Texas bench because of his lack of desire to work, to do what it took to improve. HE whizzed away his opportunity with the Horns. He obviously doesn't want to take responsibility for his lack of effort...he showed that by blasting UT to recruits and other players.

Sorry, but I don't feel like wishing him well up at Mizzou, and barring a sea change in his attitude, he's likely to have the same kind of career up there and in the SEC that he did while at UT. There's a lot of less-talented UT players that wouldn't have squandered White's talents and opportunity.
