Darell Scott, what are the chances?

What are the actual chances of UT landing scott on signing day? Texas has been burned before by big recruits on signing day before (ie. Perriloux and Rouse just to name a few) and I feel like this might turn out the same way. I didnt think Mack recruited that way. If the recruit doesnt show full interest in Texas then Ive heard that Mack doesnt want them........

Well based on rumors lately, the chances of him coming to Texas have definitely increased. Still a toss-up, though.

But.... a son of a friend of a grandfather of a roommate of a USC fan that plays with Scott says he will come to Texas.

They say 65% of statistics are made up right there on the spot.

82.4% of people believe them wether there accurate statistics or not.

Why don't you send the young man an email or something since he is the only one that can answer your question. Otherwise, 57.2 percent.

Well I wanted to just go ahead and quote a number but I will say the articles I have seen that impress me, and yes I think they are on here somewhere else, are the ones where recruits that Scott called last year begging to come to CU are now getting the silent treatment from him. Some of them have said they called him and point blank asked what he was doing and he would say anything. To me that indicates a pretty good chance he goes to Texas.

You could pass that off as trying to build the hype and what not but I don't think so. If he called them to convince them to play for CU last year he would probably give some reassurance without saying 'yes' outright. I think he is a horn come Feb 6th.

The promo teaser on the Orangeblood/Rivals site implies some school is making a belated run at Scott. Other places---maybe here on Horns Fans through a link to a USC forum---suggest it is the new staff at UCLA.

That is not surprising if it is true. Most of the top players in SoCal stay within the PAC 10. Westwood is an hour / hour and a half drive but a world away from Oxnard/Ventura.

The mods on orangebloods say Texas has a strangle hold on Scott, and it is basically in the bag.

UCLA was the other school you were talking about, but they are out of the picture.

If you are having trouble with the quote button, here is how you make it happen on your own:

before the first word you must put this In reply to:

I am a little more optimistic about getting Scott statistically speaking than l00p... I will say 60.49% vs. his 57.2%.
