Danish (promiscuous) tourism ad

I happened across this in USA Today's TRAVEL section.

Denmark's board of tourism was promoting the lure of sleeping with a Danish babe as a method of trying to attract visitors.

I have to be honest. That is why I went to Denmark. I had been in Paris for the last day of the 1997 Tour de France and a Dane had won it the year before, so a bunch of Dane's had planned summer vacations to Paris to hopefully cheer on their countryman again.

It didn't go as well in '97 as '96 for the Danish cyclist, but I was blown away over how hot the Danish girls were. (And there were a lot of them.)

So I went to Denmark, was blown away again over how hot the girls were there, didn't hook up, and that is that. Oh, and I'm friends with a beautiful blonde haired, blue-eyed Dane down here in Buenos Aires who works at the Danish embassy. Almost hooked up with her two years ago, but her cock-blocking friend burst through the bedroom door about 2 seconds after we had entered the room and turned out the lights.

To this day I curse that other girl's existence.

PS- Go to Denmark. The girls are hot.

I felt the same. I thought as far as looks went in Scandinavia, the order was like this:


1) Denmark



2) Norway









3) Sweden



*4) Finland (Not technically Scandinavia, but often lumped in with them.)



** Iceland- I haven't been, so I can't rank them.

I've been partial to Norway. It might be because I had a pleasant experience with a hot Norwegian nanny years ago while skiing in Aspen.
