Daniels status for 2010-11 still in limbo?

Just saw this article from insidesocal. It reports Daniels is still trying to get cleared for another season in LA HS.

It's mid-August already. There isn't a plan in place for something else?

Meanwhile, has anyone heard anything about Findlay Prep getting another school to affiliate themselves with since Henderson International announced in February that it was closing the high school at the end of the 2009-10 school year?

I thought I saw somewhere Findlay Prep found another school.

I also saw somewhere that Daniels may attend a prep school this year. Could have another Jordan Hamilton situation though....uber-talented guy expected to make an immediate impact, ends up with a much steeper curve due to shaking off the rust of not playing true organized ball for a while...could help keep him in Austin another year.

I get nothing about a new school for Findlay Prep with internet searches. If you have something, please shoot us a link.

The Findlay Prep site still lists Henderson International; however, there is a reference to Henderson being part of the Meritas schools. The Meritas website talks about Henderson being a proud addition to the Meritas schools. The Henderson website still shows 9-12, but they don't have applications up for the 2010-11 year.

So, Meritas took over Henderson and it's still going?

Edit: No, that's not the answer. Henderson was a Meritas school at the time of the announcement it was closing the high school.
