There aren't usually 50 yellows(I know, I know, I'm exaggerating) in Indycar races. Without the yellows I imagine Cup races would be similar. I'm guessing that was sarcasm, though considering how close the finishes are in the IRL?
 
Had to be sarcasm. I was shocked they did not race in the rain till I remembered that F1 has the rain tire changes.
 
well loop they did race in the rain last week, but they can't race ovals in the rain.

and the only reason there was a large gap was due to the fuel situation. as others have said, the IRL finishes are typically very, very close without a manufactured yellow with under 10 laps to run.
 
BigWill you have never seen a race at Texas have you. It is rare that 3 or 4 IRL cars don't finish within a second of each other. There have been many races at TMS decided by less than a tenth of a second. Maybe you should actually watch some open wheel racing before commenting.
 
IRL is pretty good stuff.
I still prefer NASCAR however. I just find it more interesting, especially on the super speedways like Talladega this weekend.

I don't know how anyone watches F1.
Road course racing is boring to me.
 
I'm gonna have to side with DaniCA on this one. Once again we see that Scott Dixon and crew are not smart enough to know when to get fuel. Why Cheep hasn't figured out that you can make up places on the track in the IRL, I don't know. DaniCA's crew finally figured that out, and she wisely milked her sled and smoked Helio when it counted.

As for whining, I can't figure out why she is labled as such. Do we all watch racing as much as we claim to? Racers whine.............A Lot. From WDCs to last place drivers. They whine. Especially while they are driving. If DaniCA does it, she's a whiney beeyotch. If Dale Jr does it, he has an understeer condition, or someone should get out of Tony Stewart's way. Hell, Fred whined his way out of a championship despite having the fastest car on the F1 grid. Drive the damn car man. DaniCA acts just like everyone else on the grid.

A lot of pilots won feeders series races that have done nothing in the big leagues. I prefer to look at where she has raced and against what competition, and she's done fine like anyone else and more than a lot of her colleagues in the IRL circuit. If she wins another race I think a lot of you will explode. She's in fast equipment and her crew seems like they got their act together compared to several times last year where they screwed her at times in favor of Dario and Tony. She was a cut tire away from winning last year. She was car lengths from winning another race. Why some think she can't drive or compete, I dunno.
 
And BOOM goes the dynamite!

Qs for the racing fans out there (I'm obviously not one of you). Wasn't this inevitable given her 60-100 lb. weight advantage over the male drivers? Doesn't NASCAR equalize weight?
 
The minimum weight in Indy cars must now include the driver. The rule was implemented this year and many call it the "Danica Rule".

She won a race. Big deal. But I see you've already fallen back to your next trench and second line of defense. Well played.
