Watched it last night. Pretty good flick. Steve Carell is great. I was genuinely frustrated for him throughout the entire movie. His character's life and mine are eerily similar except for the widower thing.

Curious what others think? I never heard of this movie before last night.

GF and I turned it off halfway through. Thought it was comedy when we rented it. Expected more on the lines of 40-year old virgin.

was hoping for a slapstick comedy with steve and dane.. was nothing like that. the movie was still good, but i would've preferred more tbs moments.

Forced my wife to watch it cause I knew she'd like it. Great family movie. I too can't stomach too much Dane Cook, but he's not bad in this one.

dane cook is good in rolls where he tries to play a d-bag. he's kinda like Jessica Simpson in that they can both only play themselves.

I loved the line his middle daughter told him about her boyfriend, and of course, his response.

You don't have to worry because when it comes to sex, Marty is the one that wants to wait.

What part of that sentence is supposed to give me comfort?

And of course, Emily Blunt should have received an oscar nomination for her dancing. Piggie.....pig face.
