Has anyone ever watched a game here before? Supposedly they broadcast them on the big screens outside and you can bring your own chairs and watch college games.

Are they showing the UT game on Saturday?

Are there vendors you can buy food/beer from?

I watched the Champions League final there last year. They had plenty of tables and chairs and food/beverage (yes, even the adult kind) vendors. Great setup, but I'm not sure if that how it is for college football. If so, it's worth the trip

What a great idea. Perfect weather too.

Texas vs Tech

Watch Party

We watched the Okie Light game there last weekend.

You do have to bring your own chair. They had issues with the feed at the beginning of the 4th quarter and stopped serving beer at that time too. Not sure if that is standard or because of another reason. It was a great day and a great place to watch the game... but those two factors caused us to leave and go watch the rest of the game at home.

They are showing the Texas vs. Tech game there today. In September they had nights during the week that they would show movies. I am pretty sure you can bring dogs.

We went and it did not go well. There was something called the "Texas Stampede" going on and they had tents set up in the main promenade or whatever they call the open space. You could not sit or hang out in that area at all or a security guard would ask you to leave. So, there was just a small area outside of the borders of the main area and it got filled up quickly. From everywhere else, the tents blocked the view of the screens.

Nice idea, but they shouldn't schedule game watching while the main area is being used for something else. It could have been fun.
