Dallas This Weekend

I am meeting an old friend this weekend in Dallas for a guys weekend away. I live in Austin, he is from Amarillo. We are catching Rush on Sat night but need some places to go hang out and have some cold ones. We are staying at the Hyatt dowtown. Thanks for any suggestions!

Uptown. Knox street pub has nice scenery.

Ghost Bar is good if you are into the pretentious scene. (insert Dallas joke here)

The Gingerman is always good for your beer needs. You can get Live Oak and Real Ale on tap and they even have Shiner 98. It is near the Quadrangle off McKinney Avenue so not that far from you.
